If you’ve been keeping track of your score on Klout and have been waiting to use an app for it, well now you can. Klout finally released their very own app for the iPhone and will come out with one for Android users in the future as well.

You can do the same things on the app such as checking influential stats and topics as on the browser but you can’t give +Ks for any topics at the moment. What do you think of the Klout app?

Microsoft has just revamped their cloud storage system “SkyDrive” this week. And with all the big news with cloud storage Microsoft changes things up by upgrading current users with an awesome upgrade to a free 25GB account. Users that already have a free 7GB account and are currently using 4GB or more have automatically been upgraded so they dont have to worry about upgrading.

And for those of you who have a Window Live account but have never used SkyDrive all you have to do is log in and click on the Free Upgrade button on the page. Another great feature is that now you can upload any file up to 2GB’s. That sounds a lot better than uploading files up to 300MB as previously available.

You can also edit Microsoft Office Documents and create content from within SkyDrive. Either way getting an extra 25GB of storage to place all those huge files is totally worth it. Swing by and grab your upgrade now while they last.

Today, Google has finally come forward and officially announced their newest offering “Google Drive”. For those of you unfamiliar with the product, it’s Google’s own cloud storage service, and for anyone who is willing to give it a try, they are offering 5GB’s of storage for free. If thats not enough for you and your crazy media hoarding, then you can upgrade to 25GB’s a month for $2.49, 100GB’s for $4.99 a month or 1TB for $49.99 a month. Rumor has it that while in the sign up stage you actually get prices that are a lot lower.

And of course some of the services that are going to be available via “Google Drive” will be:

• The ability to store your items safely on the web and having access to them anywhere you go. Best of all not only will you have access to your content on any PC or Mac but you will also have the ability to use it on any mobile device such as a phone or tablet. As of now Android users have the first run of things on any Android Tablet or Mobile phone, but soon iOS devices will be receiving an app as well.

• Google Doc’s will also be built into right into “Google Drive” which will offer users the ability to create and share documents in real time. Best of all once a users granted access to content they will have the ability to add images, videos, PDF’s, and any other type of media. Users will also receive notifications when other people share or comment content as well.

• Another ability that users will have with “Google Drive” is the abilty to search for content based on keywords and filters. This means when you’re looking for something you’ll be able find it much faster. Best of all “Google Drive” will be using image recognition so when you upload an image it can categorize it for you for quicker use. And for those of us who like to upload documents you’ll also have OCR (Optional Character Recognition) built in. This will give users the ability to upload documents and edit them in real time.

If you’re a heavy Google user, then “Google Drive” is a serious must, but even if you don’t it’s not worth passing up. With a great set of features that will undoubtedly evolve and become greater I’d say it’s worth it to use.

iPhone Dev and Jailbreak expert MuscleNerd has brought attention to a new method of unlocking that was discovered by Loktar_Sun which uses the help of SAM (Subscriber Artifical Module) to unlock any iDevice on any firmware. And as any jailbreak and unlocker would know is amazing as most of the time unlocks can only be done on specific basebands which limit the ability to unlock if you’ve accidentally updated your phone. To unlock your phone you will need to follow the detailed directions that i’ve posted below. Do keep in mind that in doing this method you will need to have the SIM card that you want to unlock in the device and if you want to unlock a your iPhone to work another SIM you will have to repeat the process again.
